Sapna Shah
Of Counsel Mrs. Shah received her Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School and her Bachelor of Arts from New York University. After graduating from Brooklyn Law School, Mrs. Shah Clerked for the Honorable Judge Marina Corodemus in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Middlesex County, where she gained invaluable insight on the workings of the judicial system. Working side by side with her mentor, the Honorable Judge Corodemus, she drafted opinions, conducted substantive research on all areas of law, and participated in pre-trial conferences. During that time, she also gained her mediation and conciliation skills. Most importantly, she learned how judges make decisions and try cases. Her clerkship gave her a deep appreciation for protecting the rights of all people.
Mrs. Shah has also spent several years at the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Appellate Division, 2nd Department and the New York State Attorney General’s Office in the Litigation and Environmental Protection Bureau defending the State, its officers and agencies in both the state and federal courts. She has significant experience conducting research, discovery, and preparing motions in various areas of law. She has successfully tried cases as well as won appeals.
Mrs. Shah is admitted to practice in the State of New York and in the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York’s federal courts. Mrs. Shah is also an active member of the India Cultural Society of Rockland. She has always believed in giving back to her community and making sure that everybody’s voice is heard.
