Donald K. Sandford is of counsel to Villanueva & Sanchala, PLLC.

Mr. Sandford received his Juris Doctorate and Certificate of Environmental Law from Pace Law School and his undergraduate degree from the College of Wooster.

A former broadcast journalist, Mr. Sandford is a dynamic public speaker and respected leader of the legal profession in Westchester County.  Upon graduating law school, he was immediately elected as President of the Pace Law Alumni Association and asked to serve on the Law School’s Board of Visitors.  He served 4 years in those dual capacities.  In rapid succession thereafter, he was elected Secretary, Vice President, President-Elect and then President of the Westchester County Bar Association.  He accomplished all of this in his first 10 years of practice.

As a practicing attorney, Mr. Sandford has worked for an AM Law 100 law firm and a Fortune 100 Corporation as a litigator during his career, as well as representing the NYPD for the City of New York.  He has litigated cases in Federal Court, State Court, County Court and local justice courts throughout the downstate region.

He is admitted to practice law before the United States Supreme Court, Supreme Court of the State of New York and the Federal District Courts of the Southern and Eastern Districts.
