Colonie Town Court is responsible for the adjudication of all traffic matters, misdemeanor criminal matters, lower level civil matters (such as small claims actions and landlord tenant cases), and local law matters (such as building code violations).

The court is located in the Public Safety Center at 312 Wolf Road and has three Town Justices which share the responsibility of presiding over these matters.
