Entering Your Plea

The most crucial and important part of getting a speeding ticket is answering your ticket. Failure to entering your plea can result in a suspended license. Motorists have the option to either plead guilty or not guilty. If you would like to fight your ticket, you would have to plead not guilty.

Pleading Not Guilty: If you plead not guilty, the court will send you a court notice which will advise you when to come to court. On that day you will have the opportunity to present your case’s strengths. It is very important you do not miss your court date. If you are worried or concerned about going to court, give our attorneys a call. We will go to court on your behalf and represent you.

Pleading Guilty: If you chose to plead guilty to your speeding ticket, the court will send you a fine notice upon receiving your plea. You must pay this fine by the date given. Failure to do so can lead to your driver’s license getting suspended.

Important: Pleading guilty to a speeding ticket can result in many long term financial consequences. Not only do you have to pay the given fines and accumulate the given points, there is a high chance that your insurance will also increase.
