The town of Marion (Pop. 4,746/U.S. Census 2010) lies in central Wayne County, New York, at the junction of County Routes 207 and 216. The town also contains a hamlet of Marion, where the government offices are located. State Route 21 passes through town in a north/south direction.

Court convenes every Wednesday with alternating justices at the Marion Court/Municipal Building at 6:00 p.m.

The fines for a repeat ticket offender can increase with every conviction within the same 18-month period.
