Recent News: Fort Collins, a City in Colorado, has recently made a proud push to protect its citizens with new speeding ticket campaign.  In October 2012, almost 2,000 tickets were issued with an additional $35.00 surcharge attached to each ticket.

The police have credited their beefed up efforts to a stark decrease in fatal car accidents.  Their campaign has not only educated drivers but also increased public safety.  Many residents of Fort Collins have criticized the campaign for not issuing enough warning.  Instead, the complaints state that officers are too quick to issue a summons when a warning would have been appropriate.
